After G's post on the massive icecream I (K) just haaaad to try it for myself! I'd seen it often in Taiwanese Dramas but always thought them to be a Taiwanese fad that was restricted to Taiwan. Eating tall icecream was always on my "To Do List" if I ever went to Taiwan but I suppose you don't need to be in Taiwan to eat tall icecream!!
Situated in the convenience store next to Hungry Jacks on George St, the stall is run by Koreans with several pics of cute Korean girls holding their 32cm icecreams promoting the product.
Chocolate x Strawberry icecream ($2.70)
I was told the icecreams come in single or double flavours so of course I went for double! As G said the icecream tasted normal but the fun of licking this massive thing and the looks of awe/wonder/surprise/just plain what-the-hell-is-that-girl-eating?-stares were what made eating it so great!
